Food Pantry
FUMC of High Springs offers food for our community members who are in need. Our food pantry has a wide selection of shelf stable items. Our pantry is by appointment only, Wednesdays, 10 am to 12:00 pm and appointments are 20 minute slots. If you need to come during another day, please contact April at hsfumcfamily@windstream.net. The Church Library is intended to be a resource for our pastor, the Church staff and leaders, and our congregation. It is small, so we do not have a lot of fiction that you could get at the public library. There are about 5 shelves of Christian fiction by well known authors. The rest of the collection is non-fiction, and is arranged on the shelves by broad categories. Within the categories, arrangement is mostly by author, although books do not necessarily stay on the shelves in that order. There is a printed catalog on the small table in the Library. There are two sections – Sorted by Title, and Sorted by Category. There are also links here
All books and media may be checked out for as long as you need them (within reason). There is no checkout process. The Library is run on an honor system. The only items that may not be removed from the Library are considered reference. Those shelves are clearly marked.
The Library is open any time the Church is open, including all church office open hours.
